Halilovic, Adama, Pogba... Fernandez explains all

In a long period of questioning, Barça secretary Robert Fernandez has gone over the situations of Blaugrana players who can leave and those that could have a future at the club.
These are his comments:

Gerson: "What we have done is assured that at any moment we can take the first option on him. If someone wants him, we will always have the option of deciding whether to bring him in or not."
Pogba: "At this moment, there aren't any options, but it is clear that he is a magnificent player. The meeting with Juventus was to decide with them all of the movements that we could make depending on the elections. We couldn't give off a sense of weakness to other clubs."

Adama: "He has a release clause of 6 million euros if any clubs want to meet it. He can leave, but it is something for him to decide. This is how the market is."

Samper: "At first, he will be in the B team, with the option, of course, of being involved with the first team."

Halilovic: "He will be loaned. We are looking for the best option for him, one that's right for him to grow with."

Munir and Sandro: "At first, they are going to stay with the first team."

Robert Fernandez revealed that the club would include buy-back clauses for all of the players that leave and that they won't sign any player without Luis Enrique's consent. "The relationship that we have with him is good, that is why I am here, but he won't be the only one to decide. We have to be in agreement."

Barça B star Adama Traore travels to Liverpool for medical

Adama Traore trained on Monday morning as normal with his Barça B teammates. At that point, he probably already knew that in a few hours he would take a plane to England, in order to undergo a medical with Liverpool, who are the team most interested in his services.

Adama left Prat airport at around midday, in order to take a medical to confirm his presence at a new club within the coming hours. Barça nor Liverpool have said anything about any negotiations, but the player would not travel for a medical without the permission of his club and their authorisation to do so. The big doubt remains as to whether it will be a transfer with a buy-back clause or a loan deal, or whether the English club has paid his release clause in full.

For the last few years, Adama has been considered one of the best players in Barça's academy, but this pre-season Luis Enrique hasn't called upon him, with the Segunda B not a good enough standard for the player either.

The Barca 'B' striker has been linked with a raft of clubs this summer, including a reunion with former boss Pep Guardiola, after the Catalan giants' second team was relegated to the third tier of Spanish football.

There remains the possibility that they could have a controversial reprieve, owing to Elche's financial troubles, but Adama is seeking a move away from the club in search of first-team action.

Which is where Liverpool come in, and Rac 1 radio has said the Reds are in the mix for the young forward.

The 19-year-old is highly rated by those at La Masia but is unlikely to force his way into a squad that already features Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Neymar, Pedro, Arda Turan, Sandro, Munir and others as attacking options.
