Liverpool's interest in Barcelona youngster Adama Traore may come at a cost. The Catalans want an option on Phillipe Coutinho if they are to allow the forward to move to Anfield on loan.
Barcelona youngster Adama Traore has been linked with a loan move to Liverpool with Spanish radio reports claiming negotiations are well underway.
The Barca 'B' striker has been linked with a raft of clubs this summer, including a reunion with former boss Pep Guardiola, after the Catalan giants' second team was relegated to the third tier of Spanish football.
There remains the possibility that they could have a controversial reprieve, owing to Elche's financial troubles, but Adama is seeking a move away from the club in search of first-team action.
Which is where Liverpool come in, and Rac 1 radio has said the Reds are in the mix for the young forward.
The 19-year-old is highly rated by those at La Masia but is unlikely to force his way into a squad that already features Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Neymar, Pedro, Arda Turan, Sandro, Munir and others as attacking options.
