Although the reports linking Marco Reus to the Catalan giants this
summer were minimal, they still popped up here and there. As Barça
shifted its attention to Paul Pogba, Juventus were thrown in the Reus
mix, as the German superstar was heavily linked with a move to Italy for
several weeks.
After all, Marco is staying in Dortmund, and even
signed a contract extension with Die Schwarzgelben, keeping the
attacking midfielder in the club until 2019. And his agent, Volker
Struth, rather confirmed Reus' decision to stick around and play three
or four more seasons with his childhood club in an interview this week.
"We
hear and read every single rumor regarding Marco's future. We can
absolutely say that the player is incredibly happy with how things are
developing at Dortmund. We appreciate and feel flattered by the interest
and offers from all teams, but it's safe to say Marco is staying at
Borussia Dortmund."
