Spanish newspaper Marca have claimed a new twist in the conversation of what the future of Marco Reus looks like.
Reus, currently playing for Borussia Dortmund, appears destined to leave the club in the near future, and according to the Spanish media the attacking midfielder is now at the centre of a classic Real Madrid versus Barcelona fight.
FC Barcelona are reportedly asking Reus to move to the Camp Nou as soon as the club’s transfer embargo is finished in 2016.
By contrast, Real Madrid have already opened lines of communication with the player’s agent, whilst Marca believe Reus himself is preferring a Los Blancos move.
In addition, Marca report that Real Madrid are committed to match the highest offer on the table for Reus next summer, which the conclusion being that the German looks destined to joined Cristiano Ronaldo and company at the Santiago Bernabeu.
